The Relationship Between Entrepreneurship and the Social Sciences

We map the research on entrepreneurship for non-business students in this article and propose a framework for existing research based on the four dimensions of social-learning: observational-learning, the role of mentors and peers and the entrepreneurial ecosystem as a platform for social-learning, and the influence of institutions. We also discuss how this framework could be used more systematically to guide future research and improvement in entrepreneurship education.
